What is a Collection Resource Guide? A Collection Resource Guide, also known as a Finding Aid, are guides written by the processing archivist responsible for the arrangement and description of a manuscript or photograph collection.
The goal of these guides are to assist researchers and give them a better understanding of what is and what is not found in a given collection, where materials can be located, and people, places and organizations associated with a collection.
