Collection Resource Guides

What is a Collection Resource Guide? A Collection Resource Guide, also known as a Finding Aid,  are guides written by the processing archivist responsible for the arrangement and description of a manuscript or photograph collection.

The goal of these guides is to assist researchers and give them a better understanding of what is and what is not found in a given collection, where materials can be located, and which people, places and organizations are associated with a collection.

Guides are organized below first by the names of featured Photograph and Manuscript collections, followed by the collection’s call number. If you would like to see the materials in the collections listed below, please contact us to make an appointment.

**New** Subject Guides for frequently requested materials are being debuted. Collections’ finding aids are made available in the Manuscript Collection listing.
