Welcome to the Virtual Archives and Exhibitions Website of the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History where we provide online access to our collections and exhibitions.

While you can visit the Museum to see our  Exhibitions and Collections we would also like to provide virtual access to our collections which includes Collection Resource Guides, Digital Collections, Virtual Exhibitions, and our Research Tools.

Visit the Museum and our current exhibitions Tuesday thru Saturday 9am – 5pm and Sunday 1pm – 5pm. The Louise Lovett Wright Library & Archives and the Robert L. Hurst Research Center is open to the public Tuesday thru Friday 9 – 5.  For access to collections and for answers to specific questions please schedule an appointment to meet with the Archivist. Materials from the collection do not circulate, but visitors are welcome to return as often as they like.

Please note: Although Museum staff is responsible for providing content to the site, we would like to engage the community by enlisting your help to provide additional information by leaving comments.
